One Month

My sweet little girl is a month already! It’s hard to believe how fast the time is going. We love every minute we have with her, even if it is at 3 am.

One Month Stats:

Weight – 9lbs 13 oz (50th percentile)

Height – 22 in (75th percentile)

Head – 15 1/4 in

 

Lily, at one month

• you love to move your arms and legs. We call you our little froggy and think you’ll be a great swimmer someday
• you love to ride in your stroller or the car. It puts you to sleep within seconds
• you are a good sleeper already. You sleep about 5-6 hours and then another 3 hours during the night
• during the day you like to be held or moving while you try to sleep, or you only get short cat naps. This makes it hard for your Mom to get household chores done.
• we LOVE it when you make eye contact with us
• you had your first smile at 3 weeks and we’ve gotten a few more since then.
• your coos, grunts, and little squeals keep us captivated.
• we are still working on nursing but you are obviously getting what you need since you’ve gained over a pound in 2 weeks!
• we were worried that your hair would fall out but you still have your brown hair and it’s getting longer.
• you like to turn your head to the left. We’re trying help you see that there’s cool stuff to see on the right side too
• you love bath time and we love how good you smell right after
