Backyard Swimming

We love having a backyard that we can play in. Lily especially loves when we get the swimming pool out for her. This time we called up Jessica and she brought over the girls. They had a BLAST!

Lily loved putting everything in the pool.

While Tessa promptly took everything out :)

Then there was the whale…

Which was entirely too big for our tiny pool.

But the girls had fun taking turns in it. That darn tale kept hitting them in the head!

And no trip to our house would be complete without a little digging in the sandbox. Sophie was trying anyway she could to sneak sand into the pool. She would fill up the shovel and let us know that she was going to wash it off. Whenever we told her she had to dump the sand out first, she had this look like, “How’d they know what my plan was?!” It was too funny.

Yay for hot summer days!!
