15 months

Lily, at 15 months:

• you are such a sweet girl. You love to give us hugs and an occasional “kiss”, which is leaning your forehead to us.
• you are very friendly and love to wave and say “hi” to strangers when we’re shopping. But if we ask you to wave to family or friends you usually won’t.

• you’re molars are coming in nicely and, as a result, you like to chew on your fingers all the time.

• you are definitely more interested in signing things than saying them. Whenever we ask you to say something, you get real shy and tilt your head to the side. Right now you say, “Ma”, “Da”, and “Dow” (when something falls down). You love to jabber to us and will “talk” even when no one seems to be listening. We’re just wondering when you’ll start speaking our language :)

• you love books and will sit and read. You’re not too good at cleaning them up, though.

• you LOVE your blanket, especially the corners. And you still love to “super snuggle” into it every chance you get.

• you are getting more daring everyday, climbing anything that sits off the ground.

• and climb behind things, even if you’re too big and get yourself wedged.

Height:  31 1/4 in (50-75%)

Weight:  21lbs 12 oz (25-50%)

Head:  18 3/4 in (90-97%)

Lily, we couldn’t imagine life without you. You bring us so much joy. Your smile and hugs warm our hearts everyday. You make life wonderful. Love you, baby girl!
