After getting our pumpkins at the pumpkin patch, we had to come up with just the right plans for carving them. Here is Lily’s plan for her pumpkin.

Boo at the Zoo
We had the cutest little bunny and ladybug at the zoo. Throughout the zoo were “trick-or-treat” stations where the girls got candy, games, puzzles, and toys.
It made for a very tired bunny.
Haunted Rides
It was FREEZING! But we tried to make the most of it.
Halloween Night
Our Bunny and her Carrot (or pumpkin, which is what most people thought she was. I’ll take either) I’m pretty proud of her costume, even if no one knew what she was supposed to be. And Lily LOVED her costume. She wore it several times before Halloween in preparation of the big day.
Lily was loving it! Everything was so fun and exciting for her.

Emma was in awe of the ghost.
We took the party to the streets. I tried to prep her on the whole trick-or-treating process.
I don’t think she ever actually said, “trick-or-treat,” but who could refuse to give candy to that sweet little bunny?
Our house once the sun went down
We really had fun decorating our house. Matt loved going all out with a fog machine (complete with a fog chiller to keep the fog low to the ground), motion-sensor ghost, black lights, green and orange lights, and strobe lights.
Emma’s favorite thing about Halloween: her little squishy pumpkin.
