August 19-20
Our ward campout was a success – despite the rain. It started raining as soon as we got to the camp ground and didn’t stop until AFTER we got our tent set up. The rain let up for a little while and then picked up again and continued throughout the night. But that didn’t stop us from having a great time!
Roasting ‘Mallows
This stuff is yummy!
Did I get it all off?
Dance Party – The Electric Slide
That night, as we tucked into our sleeping bags, Matt discovered that our tent was leaking right on his side of the bed. The stakes weren’t pulled tight enough and a puddle had formed on the top of the tent. Luckily Matt was able to fix it quickly and we didn’t have anymore issues.
Breakfast the next morning was DELICIOUS. We had deluxe breakfast burritos. They were so good!
Matt made hot chocolate for everyone. We should have brought a lot more – it was gone really quick!
Kickball – Definitely took me back to my elementary days.
Why should being 9 months pregnant stop you?!
The Cheerleaders
And then Marshmallow shooters came out of nowhere ;) and started “initiating” the new bishop in our ward!
It turned into a free-for-all for everyone. No one was safe!
Not even the one with the camera!
I caught Lily trying to eat marshmallows off the ground so we let her eat straight from the bag of ammo.
Mallow distance contest. We’ve got some impressive lungs in our ward!
