Aug 5 –
Playing with the cousins and getting reacquainted. These girls have a great time together! Lily is very into baskets and LOVED that Grandma had a huge one.
Meeting Baby Ray for the first time. Such a sweet little guy!
Jason and Matt went to see the Planet of the Apes movie.
Candice got me an appointment with her hair dresser to get my hair cut. It’s been over a year since I’ve had even a trim so it was definitely time.
For our 8th Anniversary we left Lily in the very capable hands of Grandma and Grandpa and went to dinner at Red Robin, followed by a movie (Harry Potter). It was wonderful to get away for a few hours and enjoy time together. Just the two of us. That doesn’t happen very often.
Aug 6 -
Playing Grandma’s Piano – The first time Matt put her on the bench Lily immediately started playing all the keys. She’d start on one end and pound until she reached the other side. Not sure where she learned it since neither of her parents can play.

Poor Matt didn’t feel good the whole time we were staying with his family. He spent a lot of time in the cool, dark basement trying to rest.

Such cute pictures of such cute girls! I am jealous that you got to meet Ray. He looks so much like Brian to me! Why does Matt always have to get sick on vacation? poor guy.
