Up until now we’ve never had a big enough grill that we could cook enough food to entertain guests. At the beginning of April we broke in our new grill with some steaks and grilled asparagus. Matt did a wonderful job and our dinner was grilled to perfection.
Lily had fun showing her cousins her sandbox.
Sophie loved digging deep with the big shovel while Tessa and Lily “shared” the small shovel. We still have to work on sharing. Tessa was so funny. She loves being in the sand, but as soon as she realized her hands were dirty she would get out and come to one of the adults to help her wipe off the sand, only to get right back in the sandbox. silly girl!
And her playhouse. I love how Sophie left her shoes outside. Gotta keep the house clean :) Not sure if you can see it very well but behind Matt there is a citronella candle that Matt made using a Ginger Beer bottle (he loves that stuff!), a wooden stake, wire, citronella oil, and a wick. They looked great and kept all the mosquitos away!
We also used the fire pit that came with our outdoor furniture set.
The Lawrence’s came too. They’re great!
Not sure what Dan was distraught about but it couldn’t have been the steaks. They were delicious! And check out our lighting in the background. Those are two strings of lights we found at Target. We love them!
We look forward to having lots more BBQs this summer!

So fun! Wish we could do BBQ's in our backyard. But no it snowed 4 inches on the last day of April!
Thanks for having us Cami, we always have a good time at your house!
