Lily at 4 months:
- you have discovered your new favorite toy – your toes. The second we put you on your back your feet fly up and your hands are ready to play with them. Often times your toes end up in your mouth too.
- you are all smiles! We love when you give us big smiles right after you wake up.
- You are getting better everyday with sitting up with help. People are surprised when we tell them that you are 4 months because of how well you keep yourself stable.
- you sleep about 8 hours at night, usually from 10 to 6. And you typically have 3 one-hour naps during the day unless we are busy. Then you have to settle with “transit naps” in the car or stroller.
- you are a happy, content baby. We are often amazed how well you do on those days when we have to take you to a million different places. As long as you have a full tummy and a clean diaper, you’re good to go!
- you love to stand up and your legs are getting quite strong.
- when you are tired or waking up you rub your face and eyes. I am always finding new scratches on your face.
- you are growing out of the 3-6 mo clothes and fit into most 6 mo clothes.
- we are finding out you have inherited some sensitive skin and we have to be careful what soaps we use or else you get rashes on your neck and back.
She got this giraffe at the zoo while we were in Utah. She still not quite sure about it.
Here is a video on the day she figured out how to roll over. We are so proud of our growing girl!
