Bye Bye Puppy

We took puppy to live in a better place today :( His new home is in the pond at Deep Run Park. We really hope he grows to be one of the big turtles we see frequently in this pond (and not eaten by any other animals). So long Puppy, we'll miss you.

It was kind of funny, as Matt was releasing Puppy we noticed some teenagers watching. We were worried that as soon as we left, the teenagers would come try to catch Puppy. So Matt picked him back up and tossed him farther in. His plan failed when Puppy hit a cattail and bounced right back where he was. We both had a good laugh. Matt was able to toss him past the cattails, so we are pretty confident he's safe from teenagers.
