We spent Easter weekend with our Denver family. Lily LOVES going to Sophie and Tessa’s house and talks about it pretty much everyday when we’re not there.
Doesn’t Emma look tiny next to Jake?! Granted, they are 5 months apart.
Tessa loves the babies.
The girls get non-stop playtime and they couldn’t be happier!
Dance parties are no laughing matter – this is serious business!
Pillow jumping
Sorry girl, maybe next Easter you can join in the fun.
Saturday morning we went to a local egg hunt put on by a nearby church. Don’t let these girls fool you. They were beyond excited to get some eggs, just not about having their pictures taken. Mothers can be such a drag!
Getting the field ready.
We had to come up with a good strategy. Get the EGGS! Luckily the hunt was staggered by age-group so Lily had a little better chance at snagging some eggs.
And within a couple minutes, the field was swept clean and everyone was enjoying their spoils.
They also had a bouncy house that Lily spent about 20 seconds in but the other girls had fun.
And Easter tattoos.
On the walk back to the cars the girls saw some horses.
That night the guys broke out the xBox for some Halo time.
The Easter bunny made a visit!!
Lily loved her Cinderella silverware.
Emma, still unsure about things being put in her mouth. Such a silly girl.
The Easter bunny also hid some eggs for the girls to find.
Jake got in on the action too! Tessa, enjoying some chocolate and Veggie tales.
That is quite the egg necklace you got there Sophie!
More playtime – those girls loved pulling the cushions off the couch.
Dying Easter eggs before Church. Dan and Jessica have church at 2pm so we had plenty of time to play and hang out before church.
Ready for Church! I love my girls!
After church (which was WONDERFUL!), the girls got a few more minutes of playtime before we headed back home.
I am so grateful for my Savior and the sacrifices he made for me. And I so grateful to have family close by to celebrate with.
