Two weekends ago we decided to do a quick trip to Baltimore. It was a lot of fun to get away just the two of us.
This was the view from our hotel room. Thanks to priceline we were able to stay at the very nice Marriott. The best part of all was that we were right in the inner harbor, just a short walk to everything.
We had lunch at the Potbelly Diner. We got there just in time to see the live performer singing and playing his guitar. It was pretty cool.
That afternoon we went shopping and to the Science Museum. We LOVE science museums! Here's Matt playing a laser harp and me laying on a bed of nails.
Matt showing off his mad drilling skills on the dinosaur fossils.
For dinner we ate at Pizzeria Uno's and got hot chocolate at the coolest Barnes and Noble ever. It was made around the old power plant and left the shells of the smoke stacks inside. And Matt's favorite part was the huge freshwater aquarium inside. It was the best freshwater tank we've ever seen. (He's mad that I didn't get any pictures. oops)
The next day we went to the AMAZING National Aquarium. It was really cool. I think my favorite part was probably the dolphin show, even though it was way too short. We also went to the 4D movie of Planet Earth. That was cool, except for the whipping snakes on your legs and the back-stabby fish.
