We’ve been trying to get to as many events as we can while we’re in Denver.
Sunnyside Music Fest
{Sept 10th} The BBQ ribs were definitely a hit!
She loved playing with the beanbags while we waited for our food.
Actually throwing them into the holes is way overrated.
Edgewater Celtic Festival
{Sept 17th}
The demonstrations were cool.
Checkin’ out the fox tail.
And the chicken
Lily loved playing in the kids area.
Throwing them is still overrated :)
The cutest little leprechaun I’ve ever seen.
Flyball Races – the dogs jump over the hurdles…
…then activate the touchpad to release the ball, and race back over the hurdles to the finish.
It was very exciting. Everyone was cheering on the littlest dogs because they didn’t always want to jump over the hurdles and would go around them.
Matt loved these Irish wolfhounds. They were HUGE!
Her Dad is so proud of her drink choice over Mom’s boring water.
The Denver Zoo with her friend Ayla
{Sept 21st}
Dr. Seuss Exhibit
{Sept 24th-ish}
One of the art studios has a Dr. Suess exhibit right now so we decided to check it out. I didn’t get any pictures since I wasn’t sure what their policy was. You’ll just have to believe me that they had some really neat pieces that we would love to have displayed in our home (someday, maybe). I especially loved the little figurine from Green Eggs and Ham.
Since my belly is anything but small right now, Lily gets to ride exclusively with Matt these days. On this particular ride she was taking it easy and putting her feet up because riding a bike is hard work!
