8 month

We can’t believe our little girl is 8 months already. Where is the time going?!

Lily, at 8 months:     

• you are CRAWLING!! You crawled for the first time on October 18th. We were thinking you would crawl while Grandma and Papa were here but you waited till the night they left.
• your crawling is still a bit awkward but you are getting better and better everyday.
• Now that you can get around, you definitely take advantage of it. You’re little knees are turning red from all your exploring.
• Gone are the days when we could sit you down with some toys and didn’t have to worry about you wandering off
• you are sleeping through the night again! YAY!
• you continue to amaze us on how well you do when we have a busy day and you don’t get your regular naps. You are pretty content to just go with the flow.
• we have started giving you some of the food we are eating. You love pieces of bread.
• Puff’s are like candy to you. They are our go-to move when you start to get fussy.
• we put you in the big bathtub for the first time and you loved it! You are getting so big.
• this was by far the hardest photoshoot yet. As soon as I would have you set up, I’d hurry back to the camera only to find that you’d started crawling toward me. Hence the need for a toy to keep you occupied. I can only see these getting more and more difficult as the months go by.
• I wouldn’t have it any other way.
