The car won't start...again.

For the fourth time now (or that's how many times we can remember) the car has been towed to a nearby mechanic. Every time it has been an issue with the car starting. If you remember, only a month ago we had a new starter put in. Just before Christmas we got a new battery. So, we're guessing we need a new alternator. Joyous. Now we are seriously thinking about getting a new car (or a different used car). We would rather pay smaller monthly payments on a newer car than these rather expensive and random "payments". The thing that frustrates us the most is that the car gives us no warnings when it is going to die on us. It will be running great, then all of a sudden...nothing. Well, we'll have to see what the damage is this time.
